Friendship Meals
Served at Grand Central, Hesston Senior Center and Sedgwick Senior Center. Aging Projects, Inc. Meals on Wheels/Friendship Meals provide meals to senior citizens 60 and older in multiple counties in south central Kansas. There is no charge for the meal; however, there is a suggested $3 contribution.

Taco salad (lettuce; tomato; cheese; chips); salsa; hominy; strawberries; sugar cookie; milk.
Nov. 19
Creamed chicken over a biscuit; broccoli/cauliflower/carrot salad; cinnamon applesauce; gelatin/fruit; milk.
Nov. 20
BBQ pork on a bun; oven brown potatoes; corn relish; juice; hot spiced peaches; milk.
Nov. 21
Turkey; mashed potatoes and gravy; dressing; green beans; cranberry sauce; roll; pumpkin pie square; milk.
Nov. 22
Autumn soup; crackers; combination salad; salad dressing; pineapple; applesauce brownie; milk.

Nov. 18
Salmon patty; macaroni and cheese; peas; mixed fruit cup; roll; milk.
Nov. 19
Baked ham; collard greens; fried potatoes; pineapple; milk.
Nov. 20
Creamy chicken; buttered new potatoes; broccoli; ambrosia; milk.
Nov. 21
Bean and cheese burrito; steamed rice; stewed tomatoes; pears; chips and salsa; milk.
Nov. 22
Turkey pot roast; garlic mashed potatoes; glazed carrots; cinnamon applesauce; roll; milk.
Nov. 23
Beef tips in gravy; buttered egg noodles; vegetable blend; banana pudding; roll; milk.
Those interested in receiving meals should call 316-283-3500. The meals are prepared by Newton Medical Center and are delivered by volunteers seven days a week, including holidays. Diabetic diets are served when ordered by a physician.
