MOUNDRIDGE — A committee has been formed to bring back the annual alumni gathering for Moundridge High School, which was last held in 1987.

An Alumni Dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. June 1 at Moundridge High School with a class reunion following the dinner. The program planned is to highlight classes celebrating 10- to 70-year reunions.

Each class will have a class member give a five-minute summarization of what high school life was like at that time.

Tom Adrian, class of 1962, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the Alumni Dinner.

The alumni committee decided to hold the gathering in conjunction with Moundridge's annual Black Kettle Festival. Their goal is to bring alumni from near and far back home to see what is currently happening in Moundridge and to remember the experiences and accomplishments of the past.

Moundridge High School has a history of excelling in academics, music, debate and athletics. The school has had numerous National Merit qualifiers and its trophy case highlights many of the State accomplishments.

Alumni interested can register for the dinner at or by completing a registration form available at either AG360, 101 N. Christian Ave. or Schmidt Stucky CPA, 127 S. Christian Ave. Call 620-386-0415 to have a registration form mailed to you.
