WHITEWATER — The Remington High School baseball team dropped a pair of games to Inman Saturday in Heart of America League play in Whitewater.

Remington fell 11-8 and 15-1. The second game was called after five innings on the 10-run rule.

In the first game, Inman led 9-3 after three innings and added a run each in the fifth and seventh innings. Remington came back with five runs in the bottom of the fifth and left the tying run at the plate when the game ended.

Remington was charged with 12 errors to three for the Teutons. The Broncos had just three hits.

Connor Brown threw 3.1 innings of relief, striking out four, for the win. Landen Snyder struck out the sole batter he faced for the save.

Braden Scribner took the loss for Remington. Jordan Wright struck out three in five innings.

Carter Brown drove in three runs for Inman. Carson Munoz went two for four hitting with an RBI.

Wright drove in two runs for Remington.

In the second game, Inman scored in every inning but the third. Remington scored its run in the second inning.

Carter Brown went two for three hitting for Inman with a home run and four RBIs. Derick Johnson went four for four with two RBIs. Connor Brown also drove in two runs.

Snyder threw four innings of hitless ball, allowing an unearned run with a walk and two strikeouts. Carter Brown finished the game, allowing a hit with a strikeout.

Remington used four pitchers with Weston Sommers taking the loss. Wright had a hit for Remington.

Inman is 9-7. Remington is 2-16 and ends the regular season at 4 p.m. Tuesday against Marion.
