GARDEN CITY — The Bethel College golf team ended the season Monday and Tuesday with a sixth-place finish at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City.

Kansas Wesleyan won the meet at 899, followed by Sterling at 906, Bethany at 926, Oklahoma Wesleyan at 931 and Ottawa at 933.

Bethel had a team score of 959.

Ben Hadden of Kansas Wesleyan was top medalist with a four-over par 220, topping Jin Ho Choi of Sterling. Both Hadden and Jin finished the tournament with a one-under 71 in the final round.

Coleman Houk of Kansas Wesleyan was third at 224. Jin Beom Choi of Sterling, Jordan Della Gustina of Bethany and Troy Watson of Kansas Wesleyan tied for fourth at 226.

Bethel was led by Parker Austin, who tied for 12th at 232. Connor Mickens tied for 19th at 237. Chase Anderson tied for 24th at 240. Josh Sebolt finished 33rd at 250. Chase Sparks finished 39th at 260.

Sparks and Mickens are the sole seniors listed on the Thresher roster.
