Legislators to visit 'Informed Women'
The next meeting for Informed Women of Harvey County will be 7 p.m. April 25 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 2001 Windsor Drive. Guests speakers will be Sen. Carolyn McGinn and Rep. Tim Hodge. They will provide legislative news and answer questions. The public is invited.
Group to perform at museum
September River will perform at 3 p.m. April 28 at the Warkentin House Museum, 211 E. 1st St. as part of the museum’s spring fundraiser
The family band includes husband and wife Doug and Jude Krehbiel and daughter Stefanie Griffin. Their musical style incorporates elements of bluegrass, gospel, blues, acoustic rock and folk.
Admission is by donation and includes tours of the house.

Habitat to break ground
Harvey County Habitat for Humanity invites the public to the groundbreaking ceremony for its newest home at 10 a.m. May 4 at 408 E. 5th, Newton. Volunteers will frame and sheet the walls that day. This is the organization's 15th home in Newton.
