Work by 62 Bethel College students is now on display through April 26 in the Regier Gallery inside Luyken Fine Arts Center at Bethel College, 200 E. 27th St., North Newton.

The annual Student Art Exhibit showcases work from all students who take art classes, whether or not they are art majors.

On display is work from classes in both fall 2018 and spring 2019, in media including drawing, photography, painting, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, jewelry and artist books.

There will be a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. April 25 in the area just outside the gallery.

Student artists from the local area are Caleb Allen, Moundridge; Sarah Booth, Goessel; Connor Born, North Newton; Ellie Bradley, Newton; Nathan Gamache, Halstead; Oscar Gonzalez, Newton; Kelly Habegger, Hesston; Katrina Heinrichs, Hesston; Anna Lubbers, Peabody; Austin Prouty, Newton; Elizabeth Ratzlaff, Moundridge; Jenna Ratzlaff, North Newton; Jose Rojas, Newton; Rebecca Schrag, Newton; Adam Sigwing, Halstead; Jessie Thomas, Sedgwick; Elizabeth Tran, North Newton; Laura Tran, North Newton;  Anna Wiens, Goessel; Serena Wong, North Newton; and McKenzie Young, Peabody.

The Student Art Exhibit will be in the Regier Gallery through April 26.

The gallery is located inside the Luyken Fine Arts Center on the Bethel campus. Regular hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays. There is no admission charge.

The final exhibit for this school year will be the annual Senior Art Exhibit, May 3-19, showcasing work that graduating art majors have developed during their junior and senior years. The reception for the senior exhibit will be May 17, during commencement weekend.
