If you missed Santa in downtown Newton last week, this weekend there are opportunites to see Jolly Old St. Nick and get photos taken.

Three highlights:

1. Santa and a movie

First Church of God children's ministry will host "A Charlie Brown Christmas" at 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at the church, 620 N. Fairview. Santa will make an appearance and kids can drop off their Santa letters and have their picutre taken with the man in red. Other activities will include ornament decorating, hot cocoa and cookies and a the movie "A Charlie Brown Christmas." The event is free and open to the public.


2. Santa in Hesston

Santa will visit First Bank's Hesston branch, 347 Old U.S. 81,  from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 14. Children are invited for photos. Bring your own camera.


3. At the YMCA

Santa will visit the Newton YMCA, 701 Wheatridge Drive, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 15. The community is invited to take pictures with Santa (bring your own camera), and enjoy a bounce house, crafts for all ages, live Christmas music and light snacks. Admission is free.
