Carriage Factory Art Gallery's first annual "Holiday Showcase" of 12 x 12 small works will have its opening during Third Thursday activitiesfrom 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 15 in the mezzanine gallery. The new exhibit will feature 2D mediums with image size of 12 x 12 that include oil, acrylic, pastel, photography, mosaic and fabric. Artists will be present to talk about their creations.
All works will be available for purchase.
Live music with Dave Anderson on dulcimer will also be featured, and refreshments will be served. All ages are welcome to the free event.

Carriage Factory Art Gallery is a non-profit organization housed in the original carriage factory and blacksmith shop founded in 1883 by J. J. Krehbiel, co-founder of Bethel College. More than 50 area artists have their work for sale in the gallery and gift shop. The gallery continues its mission to bring the arts and art education to South Central Kansas through the support provided through memberships, donations, sales, facility rental and classes.
Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 12 to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Third Thursday events are 6 to 8 p.m. Art classes are held throughout the year.
