Halstead sweeps

Herington meet

HERINGTON — The Halstead High School cross country team swept the Herington Invitational Thursday at the Herington Country Club.

The Halstead boys topped Hesston, Canton-Galva and Hillsboro. The Halstead girls topped Little River.

I still know we have to become mentally and physically stronger as the season progresses. I thought we made progress this past week, and got better. We had a solid week of practice.”
