Nothing is forever. The Koch brothers need not always own us. Grover Norquest need not forever own our legislators' votes. The 2016 elections approach, we can institute change. I'm asking each of you members of the 99% to carefully consider the voting records of your specific legislators. Did they refuse to reinstate the taxes on LLC businesses, the elimination of which caused this financial crisis?  Did they instead vote to:

1. increase the sales tax to 6.5%, directly affecting your food expenses,2. raise cigarette prices $.50/pack,3. eliminate .50% of state mortgage exemption for those purchasing a home, thereby raising payments,4. drop our traditional school funding in favor of Brownback's block grants which favor the wealthy school districts at the expense of all the rest?If so and they are up for re-election, be registered and vote them out! Vote for moderate replacements who will answer to your wishes, your needs.  And be very aware of how the legislators vote in this coming year.  — Beth Vannatta, Halstead
