Andover Central played Salina Central close most of the game, before losing 26-0 Friday on the road.

The Jags (2-4) gave up a touchdown in each of the first two quarters to trail 13-0 at halftime. The Mustangs didn't score again until the fourth quarter when they added two touchdowns for the final score.

Andover Central's offense had trouble getting started as the Jags had 214 yards total – 141 passing and 73 rushing. By contrast, Salina Central rushed for 304 yards.
