Richardson, in his third game back with the Swathers, scored 21 points to lead Hesston to a 60-11 win over Riley County Tuesday in the first round of the Hillsboro Trojan Classic.

DERBY — The Newton High School boys’ basketball team fell to Derby 76-54 Friday night in AV-CTL I play in Derby. Newton trailed 19-12 after the first quarter, 30-23 at the half and 60-46 after three quarters.
