The Newton Salvation Army Thrift Store will be closed Thursday and Friday so employees and volunteers can spend this time with their families on Thanksgiving.
The store will reopen at 7 a.m. Saturday for the Spectacular Saturday Sale. Doughnuts and coffee will be served.
The store also now has a full-time driver to pick up donations. To make a donation for Mondays through Saturdays, call 283-4008.
