Just in time for Thanksgiving, the Food Ministry of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will conduct a distribution of U.S. Department of Agriculture commodities from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, at 102 E. First St.
Items will include canned meat, canned fruit, canned vegetables, soup, powdered milk and canned juices. Items are free to persons and families who meet income requirements. Recipients must bring proof of income statements, Vision card, or other documentation showing their qualification under Social Rehabilitation Services Guidelines. This is a Federal requirement.
Use the north door at the church.
