Borders began its liquation sale of all 399 bookstores today, which gives consumers an opportunity to buy at big discounts. Borders is the second-largest bookstore chain, and it declared bankruptcy in February. According to an article from Reuters, 35 stores may be sold to Books-A-Million, the third-largest book retailer, which could save up to 1,500 jobs.

Dinner idea: Pesto Linguine with Seafood




1 pound linguine

3⁄4 cup pesto, any variety

1 to 2 cups scallops or peeled shrimp, washed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Cook linguine per package directions. Heat olive oil and saute scallops or shrimp, about 2 minutes. Toss pesto with cooked linguine. Add seafood on top and serve immediately.
