Jayne Duncan and Darrick Shepherd officiated the double-ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Stan and Connie Achilles of Newton. The groom is the son of Richard and Joan McCormick of Emporia.The bride was escorted by her father.Maid of honor was Stephanie Achilles of Wichita. Bridesmaid was Melissa Sigler of Lawrence, and bridesmatron was Maryann Ibarra of Emporia.Best man was Michael Rincon of Prairie Village. Groomsmen were Kynan Gibson of Lawrence and Cody McCormick of Council Grove.Grandparents are Les and Joy Thiessen of Moundridge, Lu Wall of McPherson, Jean Hollem of Emporia and Jean McCormick of Lebo.The couple took a wedding trip to Boston, and they have made their home in Lawrence.The bride is a graduate of Newton High School and Emporia State University. She is a billing specialist at Sigler Pharmacy.The groom is a graduate of Emporia High School and Emporia State University.
