Sarah Ann Taussig of Overland Park and Brett Stuart Busenitz were married during a 6 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009, ceremony at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Overland Park.
Tony Felich officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Janice Taussig of Overland Park. The groom is the son of Leroy and Ramona Busenitz of Elbing.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Matrons of honor were Laura Pierce of Olathe and Rebekah Munyan of Overland Park. Bridesmaids were Laura Thomas of Kansas City and Emily Weeks of Kansas City. Bridesmatrons were Rachel Guthrie, Katie Taussig and Catie Taussig, all of Kansas City, Hannah Taussig of Dallas, Shari Felich of Olathe and Tina Busenitz of Wichita.
Best man was Daren Busenitz of Wichita. Groomsmen were Boomer Berry of Kansas City, Kan., Chris Groutas of Kansas City, Bret Guggisberg of Wichita, Benjamin Taussig of Kansas City, David Taussig of Kansas City, Jonathan Taussig of Dallas, Kyle Jensen of Wichita, Josh Diamond of Overland Park and Tom Guhr of Lowell, Ark.
Grandparents are Robert and Mary Taussig of Manhattan.
The couple took a cruise to Key West, Fla., and Cozumel, Mexico, and they have made their home in Overland Park.
The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Mission South and Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She is a second-grade teacher at Westminster Christian Academy.
The groom is a graduate of Berean Academy and Kansas State University. He is a fifth-grade teacher at Westminster Christian Academy.
