Question: It’s open forum week. What’s on your mind?
• I had some relatives in for the weekend. We went to go to a store out on Old Highway 81. On the way there, there is a building that has been like this for years and years. There’s an awning that is partly ripped and the metal is still standing, and you worry about us! Let’s worry about the things that people see. My relatives could not believe it’s that way. It’s been that way too long. Let’s start getting it cleaned up!
• If the school district would quit sending teachers all over the United States every summer, it would save a lot of money.
• If we are going to be making cuts let’s start cutting sports, band, orchestra, music and every other extracurricular activity.
