Question: With Veterans Day just around the corner on Nov 11, do you think the United States does enough for its veterans?

• No, I do not think the United States does enough for our veterans. For example, there are atomic veterans living all over the country who have never received a thank you or medals from our government for their work during the nuclear testing from the mid 1940s to the late 1960s. These veterans had to sign a secrecy oath to never talk about what they witnessed and the jobs they performed during these tests. More than half of the brave soldiers who were the guinea pigs for these tests have died from cancer, never once being compensated from our government. If you are interested in reading more about these fine, brave soldiers and what they witnessed during these tests go to www.naav.com. It is a not-for-profit Veteran’s Assistance Organization. Please help them fight for justice by contacting your government representatives.
