Question: With Veterans Day just around the corner on Nov 11, do you think the United States does enough for its veterans?

• Anybody who has served in any of the military services when they die should have a marker. And my husband served for about 11 years in the Air Force, and he has no marker We were told if we had a stone of our own we couldn’t get a veteran’s stone, and he don’t have to have a big stone. Just a small marker to put a flag in will do. There is no reason if they served our country why they can’t have something on their grave.

• No, there was not enough done for the veterans in any of the wars, especially the Vietnam War. When they came back, they weren’t even welcomed back. They couldn’t even get jobs.
