Question: With Veterans Day just around the corner on Nov 11, do you think the United States does enough for its veterans?
• My father was a veteran. I don’t think he got as much thanks as he should of for his years of service to his country. The freedoms and great things we have today are because he and others like him gave up so much for their country.
• I often go to military honors things and parades like for Veterans Day and Memorial Day and such, and there’s never any new faces or very many people there. It’s always people — same faces — from the VFW and the Legion and their wives and such. We need everyone to come out and honor veterans. God bless our veterans.
