Chisholm Trail Festival cow chip found

NEWTON —

The Chisholm Trail Festival cow chip has been found by Corey Stanford. Standford found the cow chip today (Friday) by Greenwood Cemetery and Chisholm Middle School.

• In responding to the caller who wanted the extra-curricular activities, like band, orchestra and music cut. I would tell them my daughter has always had to purchase her equipment and has always had to be taken personally by car. Leave those type of activities alone. It actually teaches the child something.

• The water department raised the rates because we had a wet spring and no one watered their lawns. If we have a dry summer is the city going to lower our rates? I hope so.
