The preliminary hearing for Katheryn Nycole Dale has been re-scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday.
Dale is charged with aggravated battery, abuse of a child and two counts of aggravated endangering a child in connection with the death of her 19-month-old son, Vincent Hill.
Hill died while in the care of Dale’s boyfriend, Chad Carr, in the couple’s North Newton home in March.
Dale remains in the Harvey County Detention Center on $50,000 bond. Dale’s attorney has asked repeatedly for Dale to be released on her own recognizance, but Judge Joe Dickinson has refused to reduce the bond.
