Monart is having art classes this month and in March at the Bethel College Academy of Performing Arts in Newton:
• Monart Drawing Classes — 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday for ages 4 through adults. Groups are divided based on enrollment
The theme this week is Hawaii — participants will draw an erupting volcano with oil pastel, Hawaii's state bird and add vegetation to compositions.
The tuition is $35 and includes all supplies and materials.
