The Hesston College men’s basketball team fell to Brown Mackie College 77-56 Wednesday in NJCAA Division II, Region VI play in Hesston.
The Larks trailed 25-20 at the half, giving up 52 points in the second half.
Hesston was outrebounded 44-34.
Brown Mackie clinches a share of the Region VI title at 4-1, 12-12 overall. The Lions were led by Thaddeus Rideau with 17 points. Royal Crouch and Adam Mughmaw each scored 13 points.
Pierre Zook led Hesston with 26 points. Drew Emmert scored 12 points. Aaron Young had 12 rebounds.
Hesston falls to 11-11, 1-4 in Region VI play. Hesston plays at 4 p.m. Saturday at Southeast Community College in Beatrice, Neb.
