Two Youthville All-Star teams will compete in a flag football game at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hartman Arena in Park City.
The youth are from the Youthville Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
“This is a great opportunity for the kids to have a unique and positive experience that they will remember,” said Brad Merrifield, Youthville activities worker. “So many of our youth need opportunities like this to overcome trauma in their everyday lives.”
The youth also will be honored at halftime of the Wichita Wild game against Alaska, which kicks off at 7:05 p.m.
