Chase Hannah of Leawood, the grandson of David and Olive Hannah of Newton, was named in Sports Illustrated for Kids as one of the Top 10 “Sportskids of the Year” in its December issue.
Hannah won his division in the Kansas Golf Association Junior Amateur (14 and younger). He also won five other KGA junior tournaments. He placed second and third in two PGA Junior events.
He won an Elks free throw contest. His team, the Gear for Sports Spurs, took second in a Kansas state tournament.
He attends Mission Valley Middle School in Leawood
