Meeting set for Tuesday at NHS
A meeting for parents of Newton High School winter sports athletes will be 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Parents will get information about the upcoming winter sports seasons.
Wild signs Kelly for 2010 season
PARK CITY — The Wichita Wild indoor football team signed kick returner and defensive back Randy Kelly for the 2009 season.
Kelly averaged 21.2 yards per kick return last season. He had 1,450 all-purpose yards. On defense, he had 72.5 tackles and seven interceptions.
This will be his second season of indoor football. He spent part of 2007 in the Kansas City Chiefs camp. He spent part of the 2008 season with Arkansas of the arenafootballleague2.
Kelly played at the University of Arkansas and Coffeyville Community College.
