NORTH NEWTON —
Four Bethel College teams were honored by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for having collective a grade-point-average of 3.0 or better for the 2007-08 school year.
The NAIA Scholar Teams at Bethel included the women’s basketball team, coached by Mark Fox, with a 3.14 GPA; the women’s cross country team, coached by Gerry Sieber, with a 3.35; the women’s tennis team, coached by Lonnie Isaac, with a 3.39; and the women’s volleyball team, coached by Chad Schilling, with a 3.37.
