Hillsboro downed Sedgwick 35-28 last week while Collegiate downed Garden Plain 51-20. Collegiate quarterback Blake Jablonski has 2,720 yards passing, hitting 179 of 271 attempts with nine interceptions and 37 touchdowns. Jablonski has 207 rushing yards with four touchdowns. Raymond Taylor has 574 rushing yards with eight touchdowns. Brett Lemaster has 965 receiving yards with 12 touchdowns, followed by Tre Bailey with 587 receiving yards with four touchdowns. Bryce Cornejo has 448 receiving yards with seven touchdowns.
Class 2-1A
Moundridge (4-6) at
St. Mary’s-Colgan (9-1)
2 p.m.
Moundridge opened the playoffs with a 40-21 win over Humboldt, the Wildcats’ third straight win. Colgan downed Sedan 41-6. This is a rematch from last year’s second-round game, won by Colgan 21-7. The sole loss for Colgan came against Class 3A Galena 36-34, which finished the regular season unbeaten.
Eight-Man I
Baileyville B&B (10-0)
at Goessel (8-2)

Goessel opened the playoffs with a 50-20 win over Central of Burden Tuesday while Baileyville downed Madison 44-12. Baileyville is the defending Eight-Man I state champion and on a 23-game winning streak, dating back to the first round of the 2007 playoffs. B&B is led by quarterback Kyle Haverkamp hit 39 of 50 passes with 488 yards and 10 touchdowns. Haverkamp has 454 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns. Ryan Huerter has 609 rushing yards with 14 touchdowns. Mitch Engelken has 351 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns. Huerter has 248 receiving yards with four touchdowns.
Eight-Man II
Centre (8-1) at Hanover (8-1)
3 p.m.
Centre opened the playoffs with a 56-26 win over South Haven. Hanover downed Wilson 64-14. Hanover is the defending state champion. The sole loss this season for Hanover is Eight-Man I defending champion Baileyville B&B 28-14. Hanover quarterback Jerod Diederich has hit 35 of 56 passes for 581 yards with 11 touchdowns and three interceptions. Ethan Diederich has 42 carries for 278 yards and four touchdowns. Trevor Jueneman has 42 carries for 277 yards and five touchdowns. Jerod Diederich has 30 carries for 192 yards and five touchdowns. Taylor Nicholson has 18 catches for 450 yards and 10 touchdowns.
