The Bethel College women’s basketball team claimed a close win on the road, stopping Stephens College 62-58 Friday in the Stephens Classic.
Bethel led 29-26 at the half. The Threshers outscored Stephens 15-0 from 3-point range.
Bethel’s individual stats were not reported at press time.
Stephens, 3-3, was led by Tia LaFavor with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Megan Sheffield added 11 points and nine rebounds.
Bethel improves to 4-2 and plays Mt. Vernon Nazarene at 1 p.m. today in Columbia.
