HESSTON —
The Hesston College men’s basketball team downed the Bethany College junior varsity 87-69 Monday at Yost Center.
Hesston led 44-29 at the half. The Larks hit 33 of 62 from the field. Bethany was 22 of 67 shooting.
Pierre Zook scored 25 points for Hesston, followed by Mahlon Jones with 20, Armond Patterson with 13, Tom Richmond with 11 and Drew Emmert with 10.
Devin Smith scored 10 points for Bethany.
Saturday’s game at Southeast (Neb.) Community College was postponed with no make-up date set.
Hesston is 12-11 and plays at 4 p.m. Saturday at North Central Missouri.
