Remington grad to compete at national juco championships

Gavin Wuthrich of Whitewater, a Remington High School graduate and a sophomore at Hutchinson Community College, qualified for the National Junior College Athletics Association Track and Field Championships, which begins today at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.

Wuthrich will compete in the hammer throw and discus. He is ranked fourth in the hammer throw and 12th in the discus. He won the Region VI hammer throw title at 141-7. He was an NJCAA All-American at the indoor nationals.
