Hesston golfer qualifies for state

EL DORADO —

Hesston High School senior golfer John Reimer qualified for the Class 4A state tournament with a seventh-place individual finish Monday in the regional tournament at the Prairie Trails Country Club in El Dorado.

Reimer shot an 81

Andover won the team title at 322, followed by Andover Central at 328. The top two teams qualify for state. Hesston finished third at 345, followed by Augusta at 346.

The state tournament is Monday at the Stagg Hill Golf Course in Manhattan.
