HILLSBORO — The Tabor College football team fell to McPherson College 43-10 Saturday in Hillsboro.
McPherson, ranked 16th in the NAIA entering the game, improves to 7-1, 6-1 in KCAC play. Tabor falls to 0-8, 0-7 in the conference.
McPherson led 21-10 at the half, but used a 15-0 third quarter to put the game away.
McPherson quarterback Shane Mascarenas hit 19 of 31 passes for 399 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. Andy Skinner had six catches for 166 yards and three touchdowns. Stephen Harrison had eight catches for 144 yards with two touchdowns. Chris German added a rushing touchdown. Bulldog running back Aaron Lafitte had 98 yards rushing on 16 carries.
Stephen Gulledge had all the scoring for Tabor, hitting a 40-yard field goal, scoring on a three-yard run and hitting the extra-point kick.
Tabor plays at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Southwestern.
