Remington led 25-21 at the half and 32-30 after three quarters, closing out the game with an 11-6 run. Remington won despite five of 17 free throw shooting, one of 10 in the fourth quarter,
Katie Regier led Remington with 13 points. Jessi Green added nine.
Mariah Jones led Ell-Saline with 14 points. Ell-Saline falls to 2-4 in HOAL play, 9-6 overall.
Remington is 12-3, 4-2 in HOAL play. Remington plays Tuesday at Berean Academy.

The Newton middle schools eighth-grade A boys’ basketball team ended the season with a 1-1 finish in the Pioneer League Division I tournament at Lindley Hall.
Newton opened play with a 48-45 overtime win over Derby White. In the semifinals, Newton lost to top-seeded Hutchinson 48-16.
Newton ends the season 6-9.
