The Bethel College women’s soccer team got a do-over of sorts in a game with Kansas Wesleyan, but couldn’t get over the top.

The game was scheduled for Saturday and called at halftime because of thunderstorms with the Threshers trailing 2-1.

It was replayed from the beginning Monday with the Threshers falling 2-0.

Antonia Burrell scored both goals for Kansas Wesleyan, 4-6-2 overall and 3-2-1 in KCAC play. Her goals came in the third and fifth minutes. Madeline Lopez had the assist on the first goal.

Bethel was outshot 19-4, 15-2 on goal.

Kyla Williams had 13 saves in goal for Bethel, while Angelica Guerrero had two saves for the Coyotes.

Bethel falls to 4-8, 1-5 in KCAC play. Bethel hosts Tabor at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
