Pratt (5-0) at Halstead (2-3)
This will be the final tune-up for district play for both teams. Pratt can also clinch a tie for the CKL title with a win.
Pratt edged Hoisington 35-28 last week on the road, while Halstead stopped Hillsboro 56-17. The Dragons have won two of its last three games after an 0-2 start.
Halstead’s Dalton Kraus has hit 40 of 57 passes for 666 yards with nine touchdowns. He also has 43 rushes for 311 yards and four touchdowns. Aric Propst has 29 carries for 266 yards and five touchdowns. Kaden Kraus has 26 carries for 206 yards. Noah Mendez has 12 catches for 316 yards and five touchdowns.
For Pratt, Travis Thiess has 106 carries for 982 yards and 16 touchdowns. Landen Studer has 35 carries for 379 yards and five touchdowns. Studer also has hit 11 of 17 passes for 183 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Kaden Riner has 25 carries for 252 yards and six touchdowns.
Hesston (2-3) at Kingman (3-2)
Hesston fell to Smoky Valley 49-20 last week, while Kingman beat Wichita Independent 45-6 for the Eagles’ second-straight win. Both teams are in their final game before district play.
Kingman’s John Molitor has 59 carries for 325 yards and six touchdowns, followed by William Milford with 44 carries for 239 yards and two touchdowns. Molitor also has five catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Riley Krehbiel has hit 17 of 32 passes for 238 yards with four touchdowns and five interceptions.
Hesston’s Parker Roth has 86 carries for 781 yards and nine touchdowns. Cameron Cox has hit 76 of 128 passes for 919 yards with seven touchdowns and eight interceptions. Reese Nebel has caught 38 passes for 530 yards and five touchdowns.

Heart of America League
Inman (0-5) at Moundridge (1-4)
Moundridge claimed its first win of the year last week, stopping Remington 20-19 in both league and district play. Inman fell to Medicine Lodge 49-20 to open district play.
Moundridge’s Mason Dyck has hit 46 of 95 passes for 604 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions. Dyck also has 55 carries for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Jerod Kaufman has 89 rushes for 273 yards and three touchdowns, two against Remington last week.
Sedgwick (1-4) at Medicine Lodge (2-3)
Sedgwick lost to Cheney 74-46 in a non-league, non-district game last week. Medicine Lodge opened district play with a 49-20 win over Inman.
Medicine Lodge quarterback Garrett Burden has hit 75 of 135 passes for 1,018 yards with 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Garrett Randels has 89 rushes for 342 yards and four touchdowns. Drew Honas has 38 catches for 785 yards and nine touchdowns.
Eight-Man I, District 2
Peabody-Burns (2-3) at Oxford (2-3)
Peabody-Burns opened district play with a 46-0 win over Flinthills, while Oxford fell to Udall 50-30. Oxford trailed 34-30 at the half, giving up a pair of unanswered touchdowns.
Oxford’s Dalton Silhan has 93 rushes for 760 yards and 10 touchdowns. Callen Shimkus has hit 10 of 34 passes for 197 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Shimkus also has 326 yards rushing with four touchdowns. Ty Carter has seven catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
For Peabody-Burns, Jess Philpott has 94 carries for 504 yards and eight touchdowns. Bryant Young has hit 29 of 61 passes for 484 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions. Rocco Weerts has 23 catches for 271 yards and two touchdowns.
Eight-Man I, District 5
Goessel (0-5) at Ellinwood (1-4)
Goessel lost to Little River 57-12 last week to open district play and close out Wheat State League play, while Ellinwood opened district play to St. John-Hudson 30-22.
Eight-Man II, District 2
Burrton (1-4) at South Haven (1-4)
Burrton opened district play last week with a 63-6 loss to unbeaten Caldwell. South Haven opened district play with a 78-54 loss to Hartford.
South Haven’s Chris Arreguin has 100 rushes for 587 yards and six touchdowns. Freshman quarterback Cooper Wolf has hit 24 of 56 passes for 345 yards with eight touchdowns and five interceptions. Rustin Blaylock has 12 catches for 257 yards and six touchdowns.
Remington (0-5) at Meade (2-3)
The Remington Broncos will head out west to face the Meade Buffaloes in a non-league, non-district game.
Remington fell to Moundridge 20-19 last week in the Broncos’ district opener. Meade opened district play with a 27-7 win at Syracuse.
Meade quarterback Tristan Haynes has hit 25 of 58 passes for 171 yards with five touchdowns and seven interceptions. Haynes also leads the team in rushing with 116 carries for 467 yards and four touchdowns. Devon Waters has 51 carries for 323 yards and two touchdowns. Waters also has six catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns. Walker Clawson has 43 total tackles on defense.
