CONWAY SPRINGS — The Hesston High School volleyball team claimed a pair of road wins Tuesday at Conway Springs.

Hesston topped Moundridge 25-11, 25-10; and Conway Springs 25-14, 25-18. Conway Springs downed Moundridge 25-16, 25-14.

“We were still feeling the effects of last Saturday’s tournament and were a little slow to

respond at times, but overall passed well, with just one serve receive error on the night,” Hesston coach Jason Peters said. “We get just one day off before another triangular on Thursday. This is always a tough stretch at the beginning of the season, but a good chance to get time on the court and see where we are at right now.”

Hesston improves to 7-1 and hosts Hutchinson Trinity and Minneapolis at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Moundridge is 4-3 and opens Heart of America League play Tuesday at Remington with Berean Academy.
