• First Presbyterian Church will have Sunday school classes for adults only from 9:15 to 10:10 a.m. in the parlor, chapel and Fellowship Hall. A nursery is available. Fellowship time will be from 10:10 to 10:30 a.m. in the narthex.Sunday worship service will be at 10:30 a.m. Special music by Mark Frazier and Rachel Barron.• The First Presbyterian high school youth group will meet for dinner and a movie at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the home of Helen and Lenny Wild, 2827 W. U.S. Highway 50. The movie, “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” is a story of three escaped fugitives who embark on a quirky and unpredictable journey to find hidden treasure.• St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church will have Holy Communion and a sermon at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at the church.Monday• First Presbyterian Church middle school youth will depart for their Dallas Mission Trip at 8:30 a.m. Monday.While in Dallas, the youth will serve breakfast at The Bridge (meal services for the homeless), tour the Austin Street Shelter for Homeless, a night shelter, and The Stewpot, a Presbyterian ministry, offering 27 service programs for the homeless and undeserved, and work at Crossroads Community Services clothes closet and food pantry. They also will visit Vogel Alcove, a day-care center for homeless children.The group will return home on Wednesday.Tuesday• St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church Payee Program will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
