Presbyterian Manor schedules
church services
Presbyterian Manor in Newton has announced its September chapel services.
Guest pastors and speakers conduct the services at 11 a.m. Fridays in the Manor chapel.
They will be presented by:
• Sept. 3 — Jim Anderson, pastor at First Presbyterian Church; pianist Beverly Hiebert
• Sept. 10 — Jason Reynolds, pastor at Hillcrest Community Church; pianist Marilyn Snyder
• Sept. 17 — Dr. Harold Converse, counselor and chaplain; pianist Beverly Hiebert
• Sept. 24 — Charles West, pastor at First Nazarene Church; pianist Gladys Wiebe
Volunteer families and groups lead the Sunday morning services at 11 a.m. in the Manor chapel. They will be presented by:
• Sept. 5— Jim Laswell; pianist Marilyn Snyder
• Sept. 12 — Berean Academy
• Sept. 19 — Farmer’s Group, Prelude by Clara Kerekes Loewen
• Sept. 26 — Jim Pearce family
Volunteers also lead the Sunday evening Singspiration services at 6:15 p.m. in the Manor chapel. They will be led by:
• Sept. 5 — John Schipper, pianist Chris Zehr
• Sept. 12 — Joyce DuFriend; pianist Jan Schroeder
• Sept. 19 — Brian and Della Loewen
• Sept 26 — Dennis and Sandra Deyo
A men’s Bible class meets from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays in the Manor library.
A women’s Bible study meets from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Tuesdays in the Chapel.
The public is welcome at all services and classes.
