Poverty speaker coming to Newton

Allison DeHart, director of Partners of Hope of Troy, Ohio, will present a program titled “God’s Heart for the Poor” at 7 p.m. Monday in the fireside room at Grace Community Church, 1600 S. Anderson Ave.
The event is open to the public.
DeHart will be in Newton for a visit with the Circles Initiative of Newton — a community movement working to reduce poverty of all types, including financial, spiritual and social.
