“Brigadoon” • 7:30 p.m. • Goessel High School • Goessel. The musical features a pair of hunting partners, Tom and Jeff, who become lost in the highlands of Scotland. They stumble upon the town of Brigadoon, which appears only for one day every 100 years.

The melodrama “Secrets of the Sarsaparilla Saloon” will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fox Theatre in downtown Newton.

Artist and writer Tracy Holdeman will appear at a High Street Company event from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
