The Warkentin House, 211 E. First St. Hours through Aug. 30: 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays; closed Mondays. The home, built between 1886 and 1887, is an example of the Victorian period in American architecture and furnishings.

This Victorian house offers the visitor a glimpse into the way the Warkentins lived, since 80 percent of the original furnishings remain.

Mennonite Heritage and Agricultural Museum, 200 N. Poplar, Goessel. Admission: $3 for adults and $1.50 for children ages 7 through 12. Hours through September: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays, closed Mondays and major holidays. There are eight buildings to explore.
