NEWTON —
Since 1996, the Pete Foelgner family, along with Standard Beverage Corp., have hosted the Pete Foelgner Charity Golf Tournament, raising money for the Central Kansas chapter of Special Olympics, the Storm.
During the past 13 years, more than $42,000 has been raised for the Storm. We are in our second year with the addition of the Harvey County chapter, the Wildcats. These chapters are supported solely on donations and fund-raisers. Such items as uniforms, athletic equipment, entry fees, and hotel accommodations are just some of the costs they incur. Your support is needed in order to make the Aug. 22 tournament successful. A monetary donation made out to Special Olympics would help us in supporting these athletes. There are three levels of sponsorship available:• Level 1 — Gold sponsor, ($500) includes entry fee for a four-person team, personal parking space, business recognition in all advertising and hole sponsorship.• Level 2 — Silver sponsor, ($300) includes business recognition in all advertising and hole sponsorship.• Level 3 — Hole sponsor, ($100) business recognition with sign on a hole.Your donation is fully tax-deductible.
