Thursday Nov. 26 will mark the 14th year for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. This dinner is for anyone who doesn’t have a place to go for Thanksgiving or for anyone who just simply doesn’t want to cook.

Come and join us from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church at 12th and Boyd streets here in Newton.

We will serve turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, cranberries, sugar-free salad, rolls, pie, cake, coffee and tea.

You not only get a great meal, but also an opportunity for fellowship with the volunteers and others who come to share the meal. If you need meals delivered, call 283-6410 Thanksgiving morning after 10 a.m.

We would like to thank all the volunteers and businesses in advance for their help or for providing food for the dinner. Thanks to First Baptist Church, Salem United Methodist Church, First Missionary Church and Trinity Heights United Methodist Church for your support.
