LETTER: Writer: Walton has work ethic, integrity <p /><p />

T. Walton has worked his entire career for the victims of this county. He has dedicated himself to law enforcement and it is a passion for him.

He honestly wants to make the community safer and to make a difference for all of us.

I have personally worked with all three of these candidates, and each are qualified in their own way.

I choose to endorse T. Walton over the other two because of his work ethic and his integrity.

He is not a polished politician. He is simply a law enforcement officer who does his best day in and day out to protect the residents of Newton, and he would bring that same dedication to Harvey County.

T. Walton has the interpersonal skills to be able to effectively work with the residents and the employees of the sheriff's office.

I have no doubts T. Walton will be able to make the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office one of the more progressive offices in the state.

He knows budgets are tight, and he would be aggressive in seeking grants in order to fund special projects, such as video cameras in patrol cars and getting more deputies out into the rural areas so taxpayers of Harvey County would not have the added burden of additional taxes.

Vote T. Walton on Nov. 4. Walton has the integrity, character honesty and experience to be the next Harvey County sheriff.
