My name is Ronald W. Robinson, and I am the executive director of Agape Resource Center.

We are a clothing closet and food pantry. We feed and clothe the residents of Harvey County who are in need of assistance.

Agape gives about 70 pounds of food to families of four. Agape gives food twice as often as the other local food pantries, because it is our goal not to let any child go to bed at night with an empty stomach.

Agape also gives gently used clothing away each month. Our hope is people will be proud of the clothing they wear.

We also want children of Harvey County to go to school each day in clothes and shoes that can look as well as their other classmates’ — even though mom and dad may be out of work and cannot afford clothes and shoes.

Agape tries hard to help families that are going through difficult times. Often when families are out of work, stress has a way of pulling families apart and, we try to help take care of some of their basic needs.

Families can grow stronger together while they work on getting back on their feet.

I want to thank the Women’s Community Foundation for supporting Agape Resource Center Inc.

They gave us a $3,000 grant so we can help those who need our help. It is because of organizations like them and the help they give us that our goals can continue year by year to come true.
