The Retired Senior Volunteer Program would like to thank all those who helped make the 2009 volunteer expo a success.

Without the more than 20 partner organizations that set up booths, and the many who gave door prizes that day, the event would not have been a success.

There are others to thank, as well, including Walgreens for donating bags for attendees to put information in, David Nygaard and Jim Vaughn for putting up tables and the Newton Recreation Commission for allowing us to use the facility.

The 2009 event was a good experience, and we hope more members of the community will join us in 2010.
