It really seems ironical that Bethel would promote Martin Luther King Day, which stands for freedom and peace, while most at the college favor the class warfare that the Obama Administration is racially dividing our country — the most ever since the Civil War. (Can someone explain this?) Obama campaigned on “Change you can believe in,” but it has turned out to be “socialism on steroids.” Socialism had been creeping in over many years. He wasn't voted in to give America a 'makeover'. He has increased food stamps 14 percent — the most of any president-so much that he is known as the “food stamp” president. (To say nothing about the many he has put on welfare).
Are you better off than you were $5 Trillion ago? Do you wonder why food and gas prices have gone up so drastically? Are things getting better? If Obama's really for job creation, he could immediately put 20,000, or so to work on the XL Pipeline. But it seems that he’s against oil and our country while cleaner sources are developed. Other supporting businesses would have to be developed such as clothing and steel. Bureaucrats are so short-sighted!
Martin Luther King stood for minimizing differences. We had better unite as a country before it's too late.
